What You’ll Do:
Be part of real deep-sea research! You’ll study deep-sea biodiversity in the Cook Islands using baited camera and trap data to help build an ecological baseline for our seabed. The work supports important research for a Cook Islands deep-sea mining license area (CBG4).Where:
Based in the Ecological Oceanography Lab at OSU, with fieldwork in the Cook IslandsWho Should Apply:
Cook Islanders with a bachelor’s degree in marine science, oceanography, or a related field—or strong relevant work experience. Experience with marine fieldwork, R or Python data analysis, and scientific writing is a plus.What’s Covered:
